"Rip La France" is a spoof.
Each image is set up using cinematographic focals and framing heavily inspired by Sergio Leone's films.
All the places and contexts that figure in this body of work are integral elements or structures that enable France to work.
I dressed up according to each situation, adapting to the people there.
Most of those within the image didn't know that I was in disguise.
I took each photograph with a violet remote control visible within the image.
