Seinographie

Seinographie is a collection of works by major photographers set in the Parc de Sceaux just outside Paris in the Hauts de Seine. It is a promenade throughout the Hauts de Seine's photographic history from 1850 to today. This exhibition includes themes such as the invention of the automobile and aviation (Jacques-Henry Lartigue, Léon Gimpel...), urbanism (Willy Ronis, Pinkhassov...), enviroment (Victor Regnault, Eugène Atget...), industry (Hippolyte-Auguste Collard, Robert Doisneau, René Jacques…), the arts (Nadar, Boubat, René Burri...) and emblematic images by Victor Regnault, Nadar, Hippolyte-Auguste Collard, Eugène Atget, Edward Steichen, Alvin Langdon Coburn, Jacques- Henri Lartigue, André Kertesz, Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis, René Burri, Gueorgui Pinkhassov. There are also images made specially for this exhibition by Rip Hopkins, Harry Gruyaert, Rémy Lidereau and Pascal Maître.
