This book bears witness to a vision of urban development in France, and to the European development of "urban street furniture design" over the past 20 years, through a selection of projects by designer Marc Aurel.
Through his 1990 participation in the City of Lyon urban development program, and in accompanying major street furniture manufacturers in their own development, Marc Aurel's career has followed that of his discipline while permitting his contribution to the emergence of a very special aspect of the urban landscape.
Throughout his interview with Fabrics Pincin, he speaks to us of his creative work, of the city and its decoration; he describes his career to us and also shares his thoughts on the future of public space.
